Kim Clay is a native of San Antonio, Texas and recently moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to join the University of Northern Colorado's School of Theatre and Dance as an Interim Assistant Professor. She received her MFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University, and has taught at Seton Hill University, Carnegie Mellon University, the American College Dance Festival (now ACDA) as well as various high schools throughout Oregon, Washington, Texas and Pennsylvania. She has performed with Houston's Recked Productions, Pittsburgh's Attack Theatre, and was part of the Pittsburgh Biennial 2014 Festival under the film direction of Carolina Loyola-Garcia. Kim is a former Holland America Cruise Lines dancer, Six Flags Theme Park dancer, was the Certificate Program Director at Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh, Dance Captain at the world famous Coyote Ugly Saloon (San Antonio), and currently dances with TanzTheatre Andre Kozlowski (formerly known as Pennsylvania Dance Theatre). Kim teaches ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and beginning ballroom at UNC.
